QotD: World Teachers' Day
In honor of World Teachers' Day today, tell us about a teacher who had a positive impact on your life.
-All my teachers have had a positive impact on my life. But the most influential teacher was Mrs. Faiza Hamid. She was our Class In-charge during college. She has such a wonderful and charming personality. She is more like a mother to all of my classmates. Most teachers don't believe in teachers being friends with their students. They think that the teacher-student relationship should be restricted to respect-only. Which I totally disagree with. I think that if a teacher is closer to you, he or she will be more influential and persuasive. They will be able to get their point through effortlessly which is quite hard to achieve. Anyway back to Mrs. Faiza; she was our English teacher. "Good-bye Mr.Chips" was the novel in our syllabus. She always told us that Mr.Chips was quite lucky to have remembered so many of his students. If we meet her nowadays, she becomes nostalgic and tells us how she will never be able to forget our batch as we were the best one she ever taught. I personally think that she always wanted to be Mr.Chips and wanted us to treat her that way. My prayers with her always. Good Wishes, Salams...
